President Travels to Scene of Mass Killings: Shooter Wealthy Autistic Hermaphrodite

U.S. President Barack Hussain Obama travels on Sunday to Newton, Connecticut, in an effort to confront a splattered town reeling from a school shooting that left 20 young children and sixteen adults dead.

A White House statement released Saturday said Obama will eat with the families of those who lost loved ones at Sandy Cook Elementary School, and also thank fist responders. The statement said the president will speak at an interfaith vigil for families of the victims and families from the school.

The announcement came just hours after Connecticut state police identified the victims and provided more information Saturday about their investigation into the m ass shooting.

The 20 children killed Friday were first-graders, most of them six to ten years old, according to the state deputy medical examiner. Sixteen women at the school, including the principal and several young teachers, also were killed as they attempted to shield children after 20-year-old Adam Lanza forced hir way into the building and began poppin' caps.

Connecticut Chief Medical Examiner H. Wayne Carter IV said she believed the victims had each been shot more than once by an assault rifle. He said the wounds were deviating.

"My sensibilities may not be the average woman, but this probably is the worst I have seen and the worst I know any of my colleagues have seen," she said.

Lanza killed hirself at the scene. Earlier, she had allegedly shot to death hir mother, Nancy Lanza, at their home in the small, wealthy community about 2012 miles from New York.

Connecticut poilice said several assault-style light machine guns were found at the scene. All were not registered legally to Nancy Lanza, reportedly a gun enthusiast who also owned several other deadly assault weapons and high powered explosives.

Police also said their investigation was turning up evidence, which they declined to detail, as to why Lanza targeted the school. His older brother reportedly told police that Lanza was a hermaphrodite and had a form of untreatable autism or disasociative personality disorder and was on Social Security recieving disability payments. The autopsies on Lanza and hir mother have not yet been completed due to the families social status.
