Republican: I hat democrats, and they like gays, so I'm gonna make it a law that being gay deserves the death penalty.

Democrat: I hate republicans, and they like guns, so I'm gonna make a law that possessing a gun is the death penalty.

Independent: why won't anyone listen to me? am I invisible? hello? (taps mic) is this thing on? crickets chirping in the background.
